Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay is preparing for a state-wide tour aimed at engaging voters. According to party insiders, the actor-turned-politician will meet with state-level functionaries on Sunday, November 3, at the party headquarters in Panaiyur to discuss the political landscape following their recent conference.

They indicated that Vijay is focused on strengthening the party’s structure in advance of the 2026 Assembly elections. “As we gear up for the 2026 Assembly polls, our leader Vijay will soon embark on a state-wide tour to meet voters of all ages. He plans to specifically connect with farmers, industrialists, MSMEs, and women to hear their long-standing demands,” sources shared with the newspaper. If sources are accurate, Vijay’s caravan tour is expected to begin by the end of December or in January 2025.

A state-level TVK functionary noted that the party’s key priorities include appointing full-time workers at all levels and addressing issues of reservation and gender equality within the party. They also mentioned plans for door-to-door campaigns, public meetings, and various welfare activities.
