Captivating Kathipara

Kathipara junction  is an important road junction in Chennai

It is located at Alandur at intersection of the grand southern trunk road,

It is a largest cloverleaf flyover in Asia. It was started to construct at the year of 2008 and completed at January 2016 (St.Thomas mount )

In Chennai  maximum number of flyover in India few of them are Anna flyover

The famous   and grand flyover “KATHIPARA JUNCTION “ cloverleaf  shaped flyover .

The flyover  is expected to ensure non-stop vehicular flow from the busiest GST road will be ready by end of September .  It will be the biggest flyover in the city  bigger than Anna flyover at Gemini , with four loops and built at the cost RS 259crore . It was constructed for a gateway into the city that has been a traffic bottleneck for year. For the national highway authority of India , Kathipara was a grade separator to be taken up in the country.

This flyover was mainly build for traffic bottle to the airport way.

Chennai's Kathipara Junction, sometimes also called the 'Guindy Flyover', is the largest cloverleaf flyover in Asia. It connects NH 45, Inner Ring Road, Anna Salai and Mount-Poonamallee Road. Incidentally, it is also the starting point of NH 45 - the 'Grand Southern Trunk Road' connecting Chennai and Trichy.
