Bengaluru Music festival from Jan. 3 to 8

Sangeetha Sambrama, an institution of music and dance, is organising its seventh Niranthram Festival from January 3 to 8, 2016.

The festival commences with ‘GanaVadyaSamillana’ – a musical tribute to Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbalakshmi by 35 eminent dance musicians of the city, followed by Flute N Feet by Vivek Krishna and AranyaNarain – a unique blend of Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam.

The event will be held at SevaSadana on 14at ,Malleswaram.

The concluding day’s programme will be held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Vayalikaval.

It will feature SambramaPuraskar presentation to Carnatic music exponent L. Ramasheha, violin Vidwan T.T. Srinivasan and Bharatanatyam exponent Deepak Mazumdar followed by Ballet SundaraKandam by AnithaGuha from Chennai.

Entry to the festival is free.
