How to reduce anxiety and relax naturally!

In this article, I’m going to share what I do to relieve anxiety, stress and relax. I hope these tips I’ve come up with, helps you readers too. 

Connecting with nature:

It is one of the biggest stress relievers for me. Spending too much time in internet and electronics, makes anyone feel disconnected and that’s when the anxiety kicks in. So this is the time when I know the need to connect with nature. Nature can heal us. I love sitting beside my plants and enjoy my cup of tea. I could feel the nature calming everything in me down as I ask the nature to heal me off my stress and anxiety. Finding beauty in nature just makes anyone relax down. I personally believe that nature is the best medicine above all.    

Aromatherapy:

Essential oils are powerful tools when it comes to dealing with stress and anxiety. Some of the them are Sandalwood, Lavender, Frankincense, Chamomile, Lemon balm, rose and the list goes on. There are so many different ways, you can use them. I love putting different individual blends into my diffuser and it spreads the entire space with beautiful aromatic benefits which adds a peaceful sleep too. And when it comes for plants based healing, I really have to mention Plants Hydrosols and Flower essences which are recently reaching for its popularity. It could instantly help with self confidence issues, overactive mind and anxiety of course!

Creative Expression:

Drawing Mandalas are really any other form of art work. It is a form of active meditation. It helps calm down your thoughts and worries. All you need is few colour pencils, canvas and your mind. Just draw those beautiful curves, add bright colours to it as colours have powerful effect on us. Just looking at certain colours can boost us up and change our mind.

Positive Thinking and Affirmations:

Doing a lot of negative self-talks, which we all tend to do when we mess up things, ruins most of the self-esteem and image that we carry about ourselves. Instead try to implement positive affirmations in your daily lives. You can feel the shift yourself as I did. It is as important to feed your body with healthy food as to feed your mind with healthy thoughts. “Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds, you can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.”. So what I like to do is, take some time off, sit beside my garden and do some self talks and meditate on those affirmations. You can try it the way your way. You will see how beautifully it manifests over the time.

Sound Healing and Music:

Listening to healing sound frequencies bring our bodies and nervous system back into balance. There are endless healing sound frequency audios and videos available on internet. Listening to one’s favourites numbers helps too.

 

Having a happy living space, burning soothing scented candles, a cup of herbal tea helps clear stress and anxiety quicker. We all know the benefits of exercises, yoga and deep breathing for ages. It releases feel-good hormones and being in shape boosts self-confidence. Hope this helps!
