To pressure cook

  • Lima – 150g
  • Water

To make Masala Paste

  • Poppy seeds – ½ Tsp
  • Fennel seeds – ½ Tsp
  • Soaked Badam (Remove skin)
  • Few cashew nuts
  • Grated coconut – 3 Tsp
  • Little water

To make curry

  • Oil – 2 Tsp
  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Cardamon
  • Onion – 2 no.s Chopped
  • Green chill – 2 no.s slit
  • Ginger garlic paste – ½ Tsp



  • Tomato – 3 no.s chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder – ½ Tsp
  • Chilli powder – 2 Tsp
  • Water
  • Chopped  coriander leaves.



1)    First we should take the Lima Curry.

2)    Then we have to boil the Lima Curry over the cooker with 2 whitsles.

3)    Soak the Lima Curry over a night.

4)    Take a pan and add two spoons of oil after we have to add Cinnamon, Clove, and Cardamon.

5)    Medium size onion added in that and then added green chillies, sort into get the golden brown colour.

6)    Add half teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.

7)    Then we have to add three tomatoes and add salt, turmeric powder and chilly powder.

8)    Cook till tomatoes becomes mushy.

9)    Transfer the Lima Curry into gravy pan, add some water into the gravy pan.

10)         Close the gravy pan for 5 minutes keep it on the medium flame.

11)         To make the masala paste, take poppy seeds, fennel seeds, almonds, cashew nuts and grated coconut.

12)         Add some water and grained to a fine paste.

13)         Finally add the masala pasted into the gravy pan.

14)         Mix it well and pour some water.

15)         Simmer for ten minutes to make the gravy.

16)         Garnished with coriander leaves and serve it.
