Mouth watering recipes

Prepare .Jayarani  mouth watering dishes 

PANEER TIKKA MASALA

INGREDIENTS

200 gms paneer cut into tikka shape

1/2 tbsp ginger paste

1/2 tbsp garlic paste

1 tbsp lime juice

1/2 tbsp chat masala

1/2 tbsp cumin powder

A pinch of tandoori color

Salt to taste

FOR THE MASALA

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 inch piece ginger

6 flakes garlic

1 tbsp cashewnet paste

1 cup tomato puree

1 tbsp gram flour (besan)

2 to 4 tbsp oil

1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves

1/2 cup curd

1/4 cup cream

1 tbsp whole cumin seed

1 tbsp poppy seeds

6 dry red chillies

6 whole peppercorn

 

PREPARATION

Mix the ingredients for the paneer and coat the panner. Bake at 200'C for 10 minutes and keep aside. Heat 2 tbsp oil. Fry the onion to the brown stage. Cool and grind and keep aside. Mix ginger, garlic, cashew nuts, cumin, poppy seeds, red chillies and peppercorn and grind finely.

Fry this in 4 tbsp oil to brown stage and add the gram flour. Roast for a minute. Then add the curd and cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomato puree and cook till the puree dries. Add 3 cups hot water and a pinch of tandoori colour. Add the paneer pieces and cook till 2 cups of the gravy remains. Add the coriander leaves and cream and serve hot.

 

PANEER MINT RAITA

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup paneer crumbs

1 cup finely chopped mint

2 cups curd

1/2 cup milk

1 finely chopped green chilli

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp chat masala

1 tbsp cumin powder

1/2 tbsp pepper

Salt to taste.

 

PREPARATION

Wash the mint well. Chop finely and keep aside. Sieve the curd. Add milk to it. Mix the mint,green chillies and paneer crumbs to it. Add salt, pepper and sugar to it. Add all the masalas and serve chilled. Our tasty dish is ready to serve.
