Malathy’s Karasev recipe


Besan – 250 gm
Rice flour - 125 gm
Pepper powder - 2 spoons
Butter - 50 gm
Oil - ½ kg
Salt to taste


Knead besan, rice flour, salt pepper powder and butter into a dough. Heat oil in a pan.

Take a lump of dough and place it on a carrot scraper and place it above the oil and scrape it fast. Wait till turns golden brown. Drain it.

Crispy karasev is ready for Deepavali.
