Sundari’s Maida Cake

Ingredients

Maida - 100 gm

Sugar - 250 gm

Ghee - 200 gm

Vanilla essence - 1 spoon

Cashew - 50 gm

Method

Fry maida in ghee till it becomes golden brown.

Powder cashew and keep it aside.

Pour water in a pan and add sugar to it, keep stirring till you get two-string consistency.

Add maida and keep stirring till it becomes thick and does not stick to the inner portion of the pan.

Then spread it on a greased plate and leave it for some time. Cut into cubes with a knife.

Add powdered cashew while putting maida and add essence in the end before spreading it on a greased plate.
