Malathy’s cashew cake


Besan - 200 gm
Cashew – 50 gm
Sugar – 500 gm
Ghee - 150 gm
Elaichi – 3 pieces


Powder the cashew and keep it aside.

In a pan, pour water and add sugar, stir till you get one-string consistency.

Add besan and powdered cashew and keep stirring it, adding ghee, till it becomes thick and does not stick to the inner portion of the vessel.

Pour it into plate greased with ghee. Wait for some time and using knife, make small pieces.

Garnish it with powdered cardamom. Your cashew cake is ready to be served.
